I have recently started actively developing mobile applications for iPhone and iPad, and am proud to announce two of them currently available in the Apple App Store. The apps are produced by MarketDelta, a leading software company for day trading and financial market analysis. The apps were conceived by a small team, and I handled all the programming myself. We are quite pleased with the response to these apps so far and encourage you to check them out! They are ideal for the common investor who wants to know which stocks have been doing the best over the last year, or just the current day, or against major moving averages. It also lets you identify the strongest sectors, find the best stocks in the best sectors, and more. Interested in Gold or Silver? Metals and other commodities are also depicted beautifully by these apps.

The apps feature a “Heat Map,” which is a unique visual representation of a basket of stocks, ordered by percentage returns. Our Heat Map app is summarized here.

By the end of this month, we should have released an international version of this product that features the major financial markets of Europe and Asia, which are quite exciting to follow. The Heat Map allows investors without prior knowledge of these markets to quickly learn how they move and what the significant players are.
